Education

Mission

Ballard's mission is to create opportunities and educational experiences for the students that are involved in their schools. Providing and supporting their learning with efficient technology and materials is very important.

History

The first high school settled in Ballard was super small, they only had a faculty of 3 with a very small group of students. The first class that graduated from there in 1902 was composed of 3 students, as the years went by, the city grew and so did the number of children attending schools.

Asset or Barrier

Education for Ballard is an asset because it has expanded its ways to provide education for children who reside in the city. This will provide and allow children to continue with their education from Kinder and the way to High School. These students will represent their city in many ways and also contribute to Ballard. Students who will later on return and help their community keep growing and helping the school district by making donations or by becoming members of the school board.
